One of the issue that mostly involves the entire human run is certainly a scarcity of resources that is inexorably reducing itself due to a need for materials necessary for the normal sustenance of the population. Fewer and fewer people will have access to these resources, which will be increasingly in the hands of a privileged few.

The desperate race for resources can only result in a steady increase of pollution caused by the extraction and processing of these assets.

The human being, careless about the effect that his action are causing, does not limit the damage only to ourselves but it also involves the entire ecosystem that surrounds us. Without respect for the soil that gave us life, man heedless of the effects that affect other forms of life existing on this globe, will end up being the cause of his decline.

In addition to all this, the rate of overpopulation of the globe increases exponentially every year, going to clog even more the already limited availability that society offers to human beings.

Considering all the previous things we said, we feel the need of speaking about energy. What is energy? It is the lifeblood of our planet and of the people who live on it. This same lifeblood is going to be used, and it is becoming a more and more limited resource available only for few. Following recent events, more than ever, the human being should realize the urgent need to find a solution to this problem, which now seems still very far from doing.

Luckily, technology has advanced by leaps and bounds, and has provided us with tools to partially buffer the problems we have created for ourselves.

In case of blockchain we are facing an impregnable utopian mathematical system where everything is verified and controlled, where everything is public and certified. A system that takes into account every movement of the individual without discrimination but exclusively considering the action performed.

Blockchains are going to be the solution to many problems that before were not manageable; at the same time, if used improperly, blockchains may be harmful to the community. For this reason it is absolutely necessary that individuals realize the power and therefore the responsibilities that they will have to manage, so as to make conscious and constructive choices for our existence.
